The show tells the story of Divine Phoenix, a young swordsman who is on the trail of the notorious three Lucky Thieves--Venerable Growlithe, Desired Chimchar, and Lucky Phoenix. While on the trail, Divine Phoenix arrives in a forest, unsure of where to go next in his chase. He befriends hero for hire Exalted Raikou, who agrees to help Divine Phoenix out. After rallying a few allies of his to help, Exalted Raikou, in his own quiet way, teaches Divine Phoenix that no great hero ever fought alone.
"Ash and Brock might be the stars, but my character has a role to play too." Misty assures fans. "We are told in play that Glorious Dragon has gone with Exalted Raikou on many an adventure. She can match wits with a Delphox if she has to--knocking Desired Chimchar down a peg or two was my favorite
