Chapter Thirty Six:
Not Taking It Lightly
Jody had a pained expression on her face and Dean was seeing red. Not pissed at Jody of course, but the fact that his beloved Impala isn't safe at home, set him immediately on edge.
The monsters that kidnapped Cas and himself had left the Impala behind, so as far as he knew, it should have been found and returned. Enough people had seen the car around town to know that it was owned by a local. Jody should have had no problem finding it, right? But she didn’t! Baby is gone!
Dean's body trembled with intense energy and Sam noticed that he was likely moments from bursting into his soul form. A firm hand on his shoulder ground Dean in the present, but only for a moment.
