Samwize Gamgee of the Shire

Been watching the Lord of the Rings extended trilogy as of late, and I stumbled upon the existence of an animated LOTR (1978) by Ralph Bakshi that inspired me to draw one of the characters. I might draw more to keep practicing humans (technically hobbits, but they're human enough) as it's the current focus of my interest.

This is Samwize Gamgee- No, I have not read the books (just the Hobbit) so his design is based on the movies and my imagination. 
Who's your favorite character in the Fellowship? Or in the whole series? (my knowledge is limited to the Peter Jackson movies, so I know little about Tom Bombadil or characters like him who were left out of the live action versions).
