The colours and depth on these bugs are incredible. What a stunner, and best of luck! :D

Thanks for the great comment! One question: did you mean to say "bugs" or "buds"? Also, the WTC was awhile back and I didn't win. But the winner was a real stunning piece! [link]

I don't mind losing to something like that. But I really appreciate your feedback and support.

I think it looks great, Roz is right, if you brighten it the bottom will wash out. You've got one of my votes...Did you start with one of Halo's scripts?

Thanks very much! At least I'll get one vote. Of course, I'm voting for yours, too. I think mine looks a bit like yours, but the colors aren't as stunning as yours are. I started with BD's Synth Script, I think, but it evolved into something entirely different. Actually, I opened the flame pack that I did for the Garden of Eden attempts to go see just exactly what I did with this one, and the colors are different. So I think it may be on my computer at home. But I'm thinking that I ought to post the params whenever I upload an image so I can always recover the exact params I used for the uploaded image. Sometimes, I change gradients, but I forget to save the flame after I change the gradient. But I appreciate your support. Particularly since I think your work is amazing!! I'm honored you like this. :blowkiss:

AHA!! I just remembered the render3D.flame that's created whenever you render an image. I found the right one with the right gradient. Thank God for that little file. It's come in handy more than once.

Thank you... I think we have similar tastes when it comes to gradients and such and yes always save, save, save, I usually keep a bunch of flames in one flame file as I do for animations so I can see the evolution of a flame. Sometimes I do animations of one flame by tweaking it several times with some rotations rather than the typical sheep loop/morph. Good Luck and dont underestimate yourself:D

You're too sweet! Thank you for your words of support. I'm new at this and I really don't have much confidence in my fractaling ability. Especially seeing some of the other fractalists' work. It makes me drool and want to learn more and more and improve my fractals! So anytime you might have some constructive words for me, I would welcome your input.

Thank you very much. That's basically what I was going for. I appreciate the feedback.

If you brighten it then some of the colours will flood. It will look over exposed and you will spoil it completely.

It is very nice as it is.

Thanks for the advice, Roz. I appreciate your opinion. I just left it alone. I submitted it as is to the week's WTC. We'll see how it goes. There's some really good ones this week.

Thank you, Roz. Do you think it's too dark? It definitely looks better on full view. Should I brighten it up and re-upload? Please give me your honest opinion.
