Fun with fire! This maneuver looked almost like an infinity symbol.

was this a double exposure? its pretty cool. I like this! :D Ive never had time to do that ive always wanted to though.

No, it was a single exposure, maybe 2 or 3 seconds long. It works well to either have someone else use the staff (sword or whatever) and you take the pic on a tripod, or else set up the camera and have someone else click the shutter. I thing it would be very hard to use a self timer. Too many variables.

haha hmm. yeah. Ive never had a friend who actually WANTED to be in a picture. haha yeah. i like it though. its kinda cool how manipulation of light can work. was it actually fire?

lol, yes, its really fire. I build a staff with rags securely attached to the end and kerosene. Also had a fire extinguisher, and someone with me that knew how to use it, just in case. If you were to try something like this, take it slow and very careful and think of every safety precaution. It is dangerous! I am used to working with a staff type weapon, but not with fire. I was very careful and went slower in speed then I normally would with a staff.
