Yup. I decided to create a flag for a Hyrule controlled by Vaati. This flag uses the dimensions of the Prussian flag with the black replaced with gold and white with purple, for Vaati.
The crest in the purple stripe is based on Vaati's Eye with the Hyrule Crest situated below the eye to suggest his dominance over Hyrule. Rays of light, with the Triforce being part of those rays, radiate from the eye to represent his power sustaining the kingdom. Below that are stylised Wind Elemental artifacts from Minish Cap to symbolise his mastery over the wind (as he is the Wind Mage). There's seven of them to represent the Seven Sages.
And if you want to see the flag flying, I've loaded it to this flag waver program.
I designed this flag for the Malkuth Empire from Namco-Bandai's Tales of the Abyss. It's based on the banners you see hanging from bridges all over the Empire's capital, Grand Chokmah. I'm not entirely too sure about the symbolism, but given its history, I believe its central charge is related to the fact that the Order of Lorelei originated there.
The Order of Lorelei is the game's primary religious organisation, and is very musically orientated. Its holy text is called the Score (as in musical score) and its ranks are music orientated too, with its cantors and Grand Maestro.
Malkuth started off life as a republic. Its name is actually derived from Kabbalistic tradition, as malktuh is one of the ten sephirot of the Tree of Life. Incidently, malktuh means kingdom.
Also see it flying here.
|Star Fox character seeking artistic skills. Will sell soul for better skills at drawing... not my soul, obviously (I don't have one) but some other person's. It will obviously be kind of used and might smell like cat like all cat owners do just like all dog owners smell of dog and everyone who owns a Volkswagen Golf will smell of golfing greens. That's just the way things are.|
