I had no idea he had a DeviantArt page. I learned of his passing last year, only days after it happened. I regret not having the chance to meet him in person and tell him how much he's inspired me.

Rest in Peace.

I just found out about his passing today. My only regret is not getting a chance to meet you and tell you how much you’ve inspired me with your work. I can tell you were loved by not only your fans, but your family. May your love for them forever live in their hearts as they grow.

Rest in Peace Mr. O' Connor. Your work will always inspire me. sad
RIP. Your books helped me improve on my digital drawing more than anything else, and your dragons are just plain amazing.
Rest in peace dude. Your art was my favorite and I learned pretty much all I know about Photoshop painting from your incredible books. Thank you.
rest in peace. loved his art. one of my fav artists
I wish I had courage to walk up to your table at GenCon in 2016. I'm sorry I didn't. I had forgotten my copy of Dracopedia and I knew I didn't have any money left to buy prints, but I still regret not walking up and just telling you that you inspired me to refine my dragon work. You and Todd Lockwood were the foundation of my inspiration to improve my dragon themes and push my art in the beginning. I can't express adequately how hard this hit. I'm sorry for the loss your family endures, and the art community lost an amazing talent. If souls exist, I hope yours is at peace, among the wonders and dragons your mind created in life.
