The concept for "Underwater explorations" series : fav.me/d8h0xc9 , fav.me/d8gvfwv

which are the fanfiction for "Legacy" comic by Kitfox-Crimson :iconkitfox-crimson:

At left of the picture we can see of my interpretation of the Jayrunner (lemur female, the one of characters from "Legacy" by Kitfox-Crimson), when she joins to underwater expedition in sunken ruins by ancient human civilization.
At right - is the random lemur male in LAMA scuba gear, which was redesigned from human's examples and uses a cryotechnology liquid air storage (with quasiclosed breathing cycle) in backpack, which provides up to 10 hours in underwatwer activity (in quasiclosed mode).

Neat :3 !

Do you mean that the tanks store super-cool liquid air that's re-vaporised for diver to breathe ?

Gaseous air is released from the liquefied air in a metal sponge which inserted in cryogenic tank, in both filtered from the liquid phase, and then enters the heat exchanger, which is dedicated to heat a gas to acceptable temperatures (in practice this is heater not very big). You can use this freezing cold to catch a carbon dioxide, which the diver breathes out. Carbon dioxide freezes at -40 degrees Celsius - so you can make quasi closed breathing loop - but possibly you need an some additional rebreather elements, like an air breathing bag and separated oxygen source...
*This device was developed in USSR in Kharkiv, Ukraine in 1970 years! Called "cryolang".*
