Furthermore...where do we start? For me, it has never been a situation where I perceive that America does not have in her history a racial inequality element. All countries do. America, however, is NOT alone in this scourge of human history. All peoples do. My counterpoint is… where do you STOP going back in time and assigning guilt to the present generation of ANY race or creed for those things long past? When the hyperbolic tone of current accusations is set aside and a more objective evaluation is examined we find that the United States is the First nation in all of history to my knowledge that actually made a concerted ATTEMPT to bring an End to Slavery within its own borders. Instead of being applauded for this, we are lambasted for even HAVING the same history as all other nations. They throw at us that Thomas Jefferson owned slaves. I want to ask you a question. Just how big is your God? I was meandering through a book, and within the book I began running across descriptions of some of the grandeur of our planet in this particular author’s tale, and this realization of His Immensity came to me in the form of an example spurred by this author’s description of this one particularly wondrous place. I hope to try and convey some semblance of how Big He Really Is in this piece by eventually reflecting upon what that author’s observation brought to my mind. I also hope that in some way you will wander through your own life and realize that none of us can begin to comprehend that Mind Beyond All Time. You know God has left us His Word.
