There is a place known as Fir Grove. It is a magical place known for its towering fir trees that become heavy with snow, just in time for Christmas. Now this place has a long standing tradition. Each year, the lanterns marking the path through the grove must be lit on Christmas eve to welcome the returning light after the days of longest nights. Each year a few special magical horses are chosen to perform this task and this year is no different. Scary-go-round and river’s Tigerfish have been chosen from the Boucles to travel to Fir Grove and assist in lighting the lanterns.  Scary-go-round bounces excitedly next to River’s Tigerfish as they approach the entrance to Fir Grove. The two mares couldn’t look more different. Scary is a black Boucle with many white, glowing eyes on her face, a black and purple carousel pole with a bat topper going straight through her, and black and purple spider themed saddle markings. On the other hand Tigerfish is a light brown Boucle with darker brown
