What caught my eye about this piece is the really amazing bright colors. I’m not super sure how the world of horses and adoptables and points works. I’m guessing that the outline was by AmeAmeridian but you designed the colors and markings?
I really dig the combo of that specific shade of rich pink with the cream and brown patterns. It’s completely gorgeous and the plain gray of the background offsets it perfectly and gives the colors room to shine. The speckled white makes me think of snow or stars, which just add to the sparkle magic of this creature. I wouldn’t have been surprised if the horse has a unicorn somewhere in its ancestry!
Are the straight line patterns on the neck and head that look like bridles part of the organic design/fur, or are they tied on. On a closer look, I think they are tied on, and the thing on the head is a veil, but it took me a second and a lot of second looks to figure that out since it’s the same color as the mane and fur.
All in all, really lovely work. The bright red pupil though does add just a tiny bit of uncertainty to the piece. Makes me think that maybe the horse is just a tiny bit demonic and creepy. I dig it.
Really nice work on the color combo and patterns here. Gorgeous result.
