I own a 2004 VW Golf R32. What would you think if someone wrote "NAZI FAGGOT" on the hood of your car --- with a brand new paint job --- next to a big swastica?
Me, I caught it just in time and was able to get help from a very nice Walmart Employee named Adam to get the paint pen (or silver sharpie) off automotive paint. I think if I had missed it by a few more hours, it would have been too late. As a tip, rubbing alcohol and Goo Gone does wonders for this kind of thing.
I will wait until the morning to see what it looks like in the sun. I am sure there is a silver haze over my BLACK paint.
So, what would you think if someone did this to your car?

I would do what Albert Wesker would do: Run a knife-edged hand through someone's torso. Oh yeah.
if it were my car i would want to rip out the jugular of the moron who thought they were cute. but i am violent. of course i wouldn't, cuz me spending the next 80 years in jail would make my mom cry, and i don't want to make my mom cry. i'm also currently quite pissed off and on a short rope. right now i'm in the mood to explode and take out the whole universe. every molecule in existence, destroyed. that sounds nice. i'll shut up now.
Thank you for the comforting words. I would do the same thing. My neighbors say they have seen people walking around our cars in the middle of the night on more than one occassion. I think my car was specifically targeted as being a Volkswagen.

What had you considered?
Well, first and foremost, looking forward to moving elsewhere. I am hoping that the new place I am moving does not have this issue. My car had been keyed once before while at that address. This time, words and a picture were used.
Thankfully, I was able to get all the pigment off the paint. That has worked out beautifully. Thankfully the paint was thick enough to where it was only partially scraped down to the primer. I am getting it buffed this week, so hopefully that will remove a lot of the damage.
