A Still Life photo of my favourite pink tulip from the bouquet: its folded petal was really inspiring. There were several things to fix in the revamp: the image needed some perspective correction and plenty of details had been lost in the first version, so I started over and worked on a different vintage look that would preserve the flower's natural colour and enhance the lighting at the same time. Enjoy!

Sil-chan è questa la foto del tulipano in cucina?? Se è questa lasciami dire che lìilluminazione è davvero molto interessante....l'hai fatta sul pavimento? oppure era un piano della cucina riflettente?? comunaue la luca in riflesso secondo me da ai soggetti ritratti una sensazione tutta diversa rispetto alla luce diretta.

Sì, questa è la prima che ho scattato venerdì quando la luce non era ottimale. L'ho fatta sul tavolo con la luce che entra dalla finestra a destra, chiusa ma con le tende scostate, erano più o meno le 5.

Quelle di ieri secondo me sono venute meglio perché alle 3 c'è più sole e i colori sono più soffci, però ho postato anche questa perché le ombre sui petali mi piacciono molto! =D

La luce diretta sul balcone invece mi 'appiattiva' troppo i petali, quindi a parte qualche tentativo con le gocce d'acqua ho lasciato perdere. Però con l'acqua ho terrorizzato i micetti! :XD:

Nei prossimi giorni posterò le foto di sabato! ;)

There are two main categories for flowers on dA, the one you suggested is for flowers you find in gardens, parks, fields and so on... but there's a specific category for cut flowers (the one I used).
The tulip in the photo is a cut flower from a bouquet, so the cut flowers' category is definitely the most suitable. ;)
