About FANTASTIC FEATURES

FANTASTIC FEATURES are fantastical traits. Common fantastic features are simple, easily changeable, and generally do not count as a trait, but rarer features include wings, horns, and hair. Rarer fantastic features are completely optional.

About WISH BOWS

Wishfuls are distinguished by their WISH BOWS, which are bows containing an irremovable Wish. All Wishfuls have a Wish Bow at their chest; each type of Wish gets its own Wish Bow on the body, in specified locations. A Wish Bow can be just about anything that looks like a bow! For example, some Wish Bows are made of two leaves positioned in a way that looks like a bow.

About WISHES

"Wishes" are the objects that Wishfuls grow in their fur. These Wishes can be useful, edible, or even magical, and must be regularly harvested to prevent illness.

The WISHES category includes four (4) mandatory traits: Wish type, number of Wish types, Wish location(s), and number of Wish location(s). These can be of varying rarities, as long as you have each of those mandatory traits in the end!

COMMON traits

Ears

  • Short lop ears. This floppy style is short enough that it does not reach the chin. (Example)
  • Perky ears. These are short and perky. The tips may be pointed or rounded. (Example)
  • Folded ears. These ears are like upright ears, but are folded over at the middle or tip. (Example)
  • Flip-flop ears. One ear is perky and the other is folded. (Example)

Tail

  • Standard tail. Think of a Golden Retriever's tail, but thicker. (Example)
  • Flop tail. This tail droops off the rump and reaches the floor (or near it). (Example)
  • Curled tail. A large spiral tail, like a Pug's... but way bigger. (Example)
  • Puffed tail. This tail is puffy and is shaped like a pointed oval. (Example)

Fantastic Features

  • Smol tufts. Wishfuls can't usually have long fur, but they can have little tufts on the head, chest, joints, and/or rump! This feature can be changed freely. (Example)
  • Accessories. Removable accessories; cannot mimic a trait that the Wishful does not have. This feature can be changed freely. (Example)
  • Colours and markings. The only colour restriction is that sclera must be white. Otherwise, all colours and markings are fair game. Be creative! Changing this feature only requires admin approval if significant changes are made (ex. blue body becomes orange body, markings change from polka dots to tiger stripes). (Example)

Wishes

  • Type: Simple shapes. Shapes like stars, hearts, circles, or crescent moons. (Example)
  • Type: Everyday objects. These items often don't fit into other categories. This includes nonliving entities like pencils, scissors, or candles. (Example)
  • One (1) Wish type. This single Wish will be at the Wish Bow on the chest. (Example)
  • Location: Ears. Wishes grow in, on, or out of the ears. Must be in direct contact with ears; cannot be attached to jewelry. (Example)
  • Location: Tail. Wishes grow throughout the tail. (Example)
  • One (1) Wish location. Regardless how many Wish types there are, they all grow in one location. (Example)

UNCOMMON traits

Ears

  • Medium lopped ears. These end between the chin and mid-chest. (Example)
  • Cloud ears. These are puffy, whirly, and/or whispy and may be of common or uncommon length. (Example)

Tail

  • Squirrel tail. These are large, stand upright, and curve tightly outward at the tip. (Example)
  • Cloud tail. These are puffy, whirly, and/or whispy and are in a common tail shape. (Example)
  • Swirled tail. Looks like soft-serve ice cream, but is not edible. (Example)

Fantastic Features

  • Hair. There is no limit to hair length, style, colour, etc. (Example)
  • Antennae. One pair of two (2) antennae on the head. Can end in a puffy little bopper. (Example)
  • Unihorn. One (1) single horn on the head; usually conical in shape. (Example)
  • Head halo. One (1) halo above the head. Can be made of any material (ex. fairy lights, gold, tinsel), but must be a solid single piece. (Example)
  • Back wings. One pair of two (2) wings at the back. Canonically, these are medium to small in size, but this is not a rule. Can be any style (ex. angel, bat, butterfly). (Example)

Wishes

  • Type: Plants. Examples include flowers and sprouts. (Example)
  • Type: Edible. Items that are considered edible by human standards. Besides the obvious, this includes things like oral medications or toothpaste. (Example)
  • Two (2) Wish types. In addition to the mandatory Wish Bow at the chest, there will be another (holding the second Wish type) at the base of the rump. (Example)
  • Location: Underbelly. Wishes grow throughout the underside of the Wishful. Includes belly and chest. (Example)
  • Location: Hair. Wishes grow throughout the hair. Only applies if the Wishful has the Hair feature. (Example)
  • Location: Back wings. Wishes grow on or off of the back wings. Only applies if the Wishful has the Back Wings feature. (Example)
  • Two (2) Wish locations. Wishes grow in two separate locations. This is true regardless how many Wish types the Wishful has. If the Wishful has multiple Wish types and locations, they can grow in separate locations or mixed. (Example)

RARE traits

Ears

  • Long ears. These reach below the chest. (Example)
  • Feathered ears. Not literal feathers, but rather, similar to the shape of a wing. (Example)
  • Papillon ears. Traditional Papillon ears are triangles; they arch up and out, slope down sharply, and have feathered tips. (Example)

Tails

  • Edible tail. For flavour (hahahaha....) text. Often nibbled on. Can be in common or uncommon tail shapes. (Example)
  • Mermaid tail. Does not replace any legs. Ends in fins and can be scaly. (Example)
  • Liquid/Gas tail. Liquid tails have drips or droplets falling off. Gas tails can include smoke. Either are typically in a standard-like shape. (Example)
  • Leafy. A tail in a common or uncommon shape, but made out of leaves. (Example)

Fantastic Features

  • Head wings. One pair of two (2) wings on the head. Fairly small in size. Can be any style (ex. angel, bat, butterfly). (Example)
  • Double horns. One pair of two (2) horns on the head; can be any style (ex. conical, sharp, ram). (Example)
  • Antlers. One pair of two (2) antlers on the head. Basically double horns, but a more specific style and shape. (Example)
  • Orbiting objects. Very small items float around or follow your Wishful. One type of object per trait (ex. having both hearts and sparkles means two separate traits). Wishes cannot be orbiting objects. (Example)
  • Rump wings. One pair of two (2) wings on the rump. Small in size. Can be any style (ex. angel, bat, butterfly). (Example)
  • Ankle wings. One pair of two (2) wings on the ankles. Small in size. Can be any style (ex. angel, bat, butterfly). To have wings on all four ankles, you will need two ankle wings traits. (Example)

Wishes

  • Type: Valuables. Examples include gemstones, money, and jewelry. (Example)
  • Three (3) Wish types. In addition to the mandatory Wish Bow at the chest and the second at the rump, there is a third (holding the third Wish type) at the base of one ear. Your choice which ear. (Example)
  • Location: Body. Wishes grow throughout the body. This consists of the sides and back. (Example)
  • Location: Antlers. Wishes grow on or dangle from the antlers. Only applies if the Wishful has the Antlers feature. (Example)
  • Three (3) Wish locations. Wishes grow in three separate locations. This is true regardless how many Wish types the Wishful has. If the Wishful has multiple Wish types and locations, they can grow in separate locations or mixed. (Example)

SUPER RARE features

Ears

  • Cat ears. These are similar to perky ears, but are wider set and arch out more than they arch upward. (Example)
  • Bat ears. These are large, with the top edge folding over. Ridges on the inside of the ear are optional. (Example)
Tails
  • Bunny tail. A big, circular poof. (Example)
  • No tail. I hope you don't need a description of this. (No examples yet!)
  • Flowing tail. These tails are long, luxurious, and are reminiscent of hair or of horse tails. Flowing tails can be styled like hair. (Example)

Wishes

  • Type: Small living creatures. Examples include ladybugs and bees. Because the living creatures are capable of movement, they may be flying or walking away from the Wish location. (Example)
  • Location: Face. Wishes grow on the face. Includes cheeks, forehead, and sides of face. Cannot be applied to mouth, nose, or eyes. (Example)
  • Four (4) Wish locations. Wishes grow in four separate locations. This is true regardless how many Wish types the Wishful has. If the Wishful has multiple Wish types and locations, they can grow in separate locations or mixed. (No examples yet!)
  • Allover Wish location. Wishes grow anywhere and everywhere. Cannot be applied to mouth, nose, eyes, or paws. (No examples yet!)

About ANOMALIES

ANOMALIES affect one or more parts of the body and may be combined both with other anomalies and/or a mutation. "Anomaly" is its own rarity and is on a trait-by-trait basis. Anomalies require the purchase and use of a special item!
  • Angora. Someone needs a trim! This Wishful's fur has grown extremely long, like a Lhasa Apso. It may cover their eyes and inhibit movement. Requires Bristle Brush.

  • Beast. We've got a hunter over here! The Wishful develops large, sharp claws and very sharp teeth - suitable for a werewolf! Scruffy fur optional. Requires Lunar Charm.

  • Cutout. A Wishful has one or more holes in their body in any simple shape: for example, a heart. One shape per item. Requires Cookie Cutters.

  • Coloured sclera. Rather than white, the Wishful's sclera become any other colour (or colours). Cannot be used to create complex designs. Requires Contact Case.

  • Extra appendage. Adds one additional head (max 3), tail (max 9), or leg (max 6). All tails are the same rarity and type. One item adds one appendage. Requires Red Thread.

  • Glowing eyes. The Wishful's pupils glow. Requires Jack-o-Lantern.

  • Poodle puffs. The Wishful develops poofs of fur at the ankles and on the top of the head, like that of a Poodle. These poofs are capable of growing Wishes. Requires Powder Puff.

  • Tailmouth. Whoa, that tail must be hungry! The Wishful's tail develops a mouth at the tip, complete with sharp teeth. Limit one (1) Tail mouth per tail. Requires Lost Tooth.

About MUTATIONS

MUTATIONS affect the entire body and cannot be combined except by admins. "Mutation" is its own rarity. They require the purchase and use of a special item!
  • Devilish. Devilish Wishfuls take on the monstrous traits of a traditional devil, including a pair of devil horns, a forked tail, dark coloured sclera, and goat-like cloven hooves. Requires Devil's Food Cake.

  • Ghost. Ghost Wishfuls are semitransparent (except their eyes, which are opaque) and have flowing, smokelike ears and tails with little ghostly tendrils trailing off. Ghost Wishfuls often have a naughty or rebellious nature, as their very existence means that they have defied Miuna when she came to collect them at the end of their natural lifespan. They generally prefer to float or fly for transportation and, if they focus, are capable of becoming temporarily corporeal for a few moments at a time. Requires Gummy Ghost.

  • Goopy. A Wishful's fur becomes sticky, sludgy, melted, or goopy. This includes ALL features except eyes, nose, mouth, and Wishes. Their body is capable of temporarily 'melting' into a puddle or even melting the body and legs together like a slug. Requires Melted Candle.

  • Jelly. Being made of Jelly causes a Wishful to be coloured only within shades of one hue, and their now-gelatinous body turns semi-transparent and oh so shiny! Wishes are suspended within the jelly... but that doesn't keep them safe, because a Jelly Wishful is fully edible! Keep 'em safe! Requires Cherry Jelly Jubilee.

  • Oceanic. This mutation gives all the features necessary for a Wishful to live fully underwater. The back legs and tail are fused, becoming a "mermaid" tail, which allows them to swim quickly through water. The Wishful's fur is replaced with scales and extra large "fins" replace the ears. They also gain gills, which can be closed to appear nearly invisible. Requires Suspicious Fish.

  • Pixie. This mutation causes a Wishful to shrink to an incredibly small size; they could fit comfortably in a human's hand! They sprout faerie or butterfly style wings, a pair of antennae, and trail sparkles and glitter at all times. Their magical force pulls objects to them, so orbiting objects are common as well! Perhaps cutest of all, their nose transforms into a heart shape. Requires Bottled Sprite.

  • Plushie. This mutation turns a Wishful into a living stuffed toy. Stitches run over their body, imitating a hand-sewn plush, and patches are often sewn on. Their eyes become large buttons. If the Wishful has hair, it becomes made of yarn. Any injuries to a Plushie Wishful manifest as a rip in the fabric with stuffing hanging out. Requires Possessed Pincushion.

  • Puffy. This mutation causes a Wishful's body to become as light and fluffy as a cloud! Their ears and tail morph into swirling clouds, from which small puffs are continuously breaking off only to dissipate after a few minutes. A Puffy Wishful has much fluffier fur than standard, and more swirling clouds encircle their body at such places like the ankles and/or neck. Requires Cloud Cookie.

  • Ravenous. This mutation is the beginning of a process truly sinister. Mouths full of super-sharp teeth develop across the Wishful's body - all of which are functional and are hungry for some noms. These mouths can be small surface features or they can create large cavities, such as the stomach. Requires Severed Tongue.

  • Robot. This mutation turns a Wishful's insides into metal and cables, and metal panels and plates replace the skin. These panels are generally bolted together. Their eyes change quite drastically, with a digital appearance and the ability to glow in the dark. At least one digital antennae must be present on their body, or else they cannot function. A Robot Wishful can be made in a cleaner, sleeker, more modern style as well. Requires Miuna Motherboard.

    • Incompatible with: Angora; Beast
  • Snowglobe. This mutation causes a Wishful's body to turn to glass, starting at the tail, which is replaced by a large glass sphere. A Snowglobe Wishful's Wishes cannot grow anywhere that is not encased in glass. This means that head and ears are always excluded, as the glass body can only extend as far as the neck (and must include the tail). This glass must be fully intact; any cracks or shattering are reserved for admins only at this time. Requires Enchanted Glass.
