Updated 9/21/18
There's quite a lot of content that I use in making my posters that doesn't actually make it into my 'Resources Used' section. This is mostly because it's either stock, or because I'd be listing the same items every single time I post a picture. I wanted to avoid cluttering my resources section with constantly repeated items, at the risk of burying the resources unique to that particular scene; however, skipping credits for assets I use every time (and wouldn't be able to make pony content without) didn't exactly seem fair either.
So this is my solution: this journal will archive all of the 'global assets' I use.
(I'll also be linking to this journal in every relevant poster I make from now on).

Beyond the Frozen North: Snowberry's Story is real! After all these years!
Read it here!
It's not going to be a comic, but it is still following the exact structure that I'd planned for it. The chapters are broken into 3 parts, following the same pacing that was intended for each comic strip. But, of course, being written, I'm able to go much more in depth with the characters. Get hyped, this is the first major project I've undertaken in ages, and I hope to see it through to the end.
2024, in Reflection
It’s with a certain kind of dread that I read my last year’s reflection, because I flew too close to the Sun.
As a kid, I was actually a huge, snotty contrarian. I refused to get a cell phone through most of high school, and even then, I made sure it was a garbage flip phone that could only make calls. I only got a smartphone once my college required us to use a security authentication app. To this day, I still don’t have any of my social media accounts tied to it. The extent of entertainment I have on my phone is Slaughter Horse, and a handful of books that I pre-loaded onto it.
Why do I do these things? Even as a kid, I realized that the internet, and social media generally, is precision-engineered to be addicting. And I’m actually not a very willful person. Read my older reflections. My strategy, then, has been to not engage with platforms like Twitter, because I had a feeling I knew what would happen if I did.
Well, surprise surprise, I developed a Twitter addiction.
I got too
2023, in Reflection
It’s been a good year. Turns out, the best way not to feel depressed writing these yearly reflections is to have actually done something worth writing about! And man, this year has been fantastic; the best in a long time, that’s for sure.
I’ve done some housekeeping stuff on DA, mainly compiling all my journals into an easily-accessible list.
In SFM, I’ve been as prolific as ever. I’ve kept up my obsession with the Zebra Empire, and created visualizations for various bits of Fallout Equestria’s extended lore. Now, if only I could get someone else to use my zebra flag. Plus, I finished another super-secret FoE project that will change the game forever in 2024, once I have permission to release it.
I even made a few g5-themed posters, envisioning it as a series that was actually interesting.
But there’s one thing that stands out above all the rest…
I finished it.
I finished Beyond the Frozen North, in a manner that went further than my original plans for the series. I also
All Things in Perspective
This is something I’ve wanted to do for a while: take stock of my years here, not just on DA, but in the fandom in general. Part of that goal has been to compile and centralize my old posts and journal entries on this site. Of course, they’re all still there, but DA’s forever-scrolling layout makes finding them more of a hassle than it needs to be. I don’t know if these will be meaningful to anyone other than me, but I’m leaving this directory here all the same.

I think this is a good solution. Maybe I'll do the same in the near future.
Also, you're doing a wonderful job with your pictures in general and with your story Beyond the Frozen North in particular.
