Notes on Character Design
I received the question pictured below at my tumblr blog. In case it's useful to anyone here, I decided to go ahead and use this otherwise dormant journal to share the article I put together in response.
Character design and drawing are tome-sized topics and even if I had all the answers (I don't - I h
Alright, i think I'm mostly over my Luna burnout, and I've had some time to work on some of the personal stuff I wanted to do (such as the new improved Bookwind). I still have to finish with the directions, but when that happens, I'll be needing a few people to beta test a 3ds case pattern (both regular and XL).
As for commissions, I'm going to try to do something a little different this time around, including not letting myself get overwhelmed with the same thing over and over again. The rain held off for my sister's Flagstaff (AZ) wedding just long enough to finish with the outdoor parts last Saturday, then the rain pretty much followed us back to Colorado. And then came the floods. Where I live specifically isn't in danger of it, but this storm gave us about 7 inches of rain in two days, and I'm really close to some of the worst of it. Where I work has been closed since midday Thursday, and may be closed for a while until the waters recede. Which pretty much never happen
