Based off the spotted bat of the midwest USA, it will decorate the little snowy tree in the kitchen.

This is adorable! Don't know how I missed this. Happy to see a spotted bat in any capacity really. I just have bad luck with finding much info/ videos/ art of them!  My favorites for sure, even had a little avatar for myself designed after one.

Thank you! I read in one book that studying them has been very difficult over the decades, as they're such incredibly elusive, delicate and shy animals.

Ah, even better fit for me, lol. Most I've ever really been able to find out about them is they were thought endangered but recently found to be rather common. Supposedly quite a few of them are living in abundance in the Grand canyon down here in Arizona. I've lived here so long and never seen the place, now I have motivation to finally go to that hole in the ground, ha.

What I know of them was found in just one book in just one chapter. All the others only covered wingspan and other physical traits. Sadly, I've never even gotten to work with them. I'd love to see one in person outside those horrid museum mummies.

I've really had a hard time getting anything of mine to sell through these third party sites, to the point of barely breaking even. Any particular ideas?

I really don't know much about selling prints.  My forte is physical goods.  I've been having a booger of a time getting my own stuff to sell on Etsy.  Though with some luck.

I think the main problem is traffic.  You have to find the right places to advertise, and then do so.  Repeatedly.  You can't just post it once on FB group or whatever, you have to do it 2-3 times.

That's most of my problem.  I haven't done nearly enough posting on here and elsewhere of what I have to offer.  I need to get my act together.

Ah. I have to say I've tried that. I guess I could keep doing so with newer product, but honestly, it's a waste of money, time and room if it never sells. Which it hasn't yet. Breaking even has been as good as going back to square one for me.

Yeah! You know?
Where all the past years are now?

The good old 1999...
The sweet little 2000....
And who could ever forget 2001!

(ok, I'm stopping now... No, I disagree! )

Purple's the only color I haven't used on Winterlings yet, so it was an easy choice this round. : )
