Although the camera didn't catch all of the details from this piece, it makes it no less wonderful.
Your color is so bold, and it instantly catches the viewers eye. Great piece. :)

This reminds me of the Filter album Short Bus...
Which is why I like it :)

Haha, nice! Well if you like hard rock music at all, check it out if you get a chance. Richard Patrick is one of my favorite singers of all time!

How'd you make the black smudges? Just with your finger? And another question, is that beige or what that got murky in the picture taking?

I just adore the picture and can't stop looking at it C:

Thanks so much :D!

amazingly simple yet effective. Id hang that on my wall any day.

I have a question. How do you start when painting an abstract like this? a photograph or imagination?
windywater's avatar
Many thanks :D!!

its usually a feeling or a mood, this one actually is based on a scene i imagined and then wrote out, and then ended up painting, so quite a bit behind it :)

-eventually id like to be able to really portray emotions in a way that the viewer could really relate to (Mark Rothko accomplished it), but that takes a while lol
