How does watercolor work on illustration board? I haven't tried that yet. :)I mainly use cold press. This is insanely beautiful. :)

Watercolor acts a bit different on illustration board than watercolor paper. On watercolor paper, it 'absorbs' and is harder to lift (depending on the type of paper). On illustration board, it soaks in only a little bit and mostly sits on top of the board. This makes lifting much easier, but the downside is it's harder to layer because it tends to bring up the previous layer very easily.

I use watercolor paper now instead of illustration board, but there are pros and cons to both. :)

Got it, Kind of sounds like the watercolor canvas I tried. Thanks a lot for the feedback. :)

Absolutely exquisite. It's visually stunning, rendered so tenderly with such meticulous attention to detail, vivid colors and perfect transitioning. Thank you thank you for sharing.:heart::heart:

Oh my goodness. This is stunning! Everything about it flows so beautifully. The colors blend, the birds have life. If I only had the money... Hmm. Christmas is nearing. I know what I'm going to hint at. ;)
