Many of you would know the Massive art theft made by Chad Love-Lieberman throught his Web page art4love.com, but he changed the domain to <a href="www.markyourspot.com/>markyourspot.com and now he has erased the domain, but can still be found at 67.90.44.118/.

He say he is a pop artist but he only sell the art of others like it was from himself and hurt the artist comunity.

This news is to ask for help of someone who know more than me about what to do in this situation, made a list of afected artist and, if its possible, a list of links of the affected artworks and originals and try to start "legal actions" or whatever is needed

So please take a look at the page and post here the artist affected and the links to the affected drawings (the one in DA and the one in the page)

to navigate throught the page you have to change the w w w . art4love . c o m with 67.90.44.118 everytime it say that the page didn't exist

With the help of all we can finally put that page out

It is amazing what people would do for money. There are enough art theives here. I doubt my art has been stolen but I gotta check this site out!

:iconart-master321: Stole art from Genzoman and another chick here, she also stole from the internet and won't take any of it down. IDK what the DA admins are doing but they need to banned her now.

is the bad part, as a web designer i know how they are made and touch the administration section of some forums and is very difficult to ban someone forever

what DA do is ban the user so that user can't be used again, but they can't avoid that person to create a new account

so the solution is to report the new account if that person follow taking the work of others

if that person is someone you know (your sister in this case) you can try to made her understand that she isn't acting well, but sometimes that isn't easy u.u

I told her she would get banned if she stole art but she didn't care, not to mention she is underage for DA too. She is 10. I think DA should block emails that have already been banned.

Just tried getting on the site again, since it's later now and I figured it wouldn't be as busy, but I still can't with the IP. :/ I desperately want to, so I can help with this, though... This guy better pay.

seems the IP don't work anymore, so we can see the stolen artworks

but there are many screen captures taken from the web, so we will made a affected list with that

is sad to not be able to list all the affected people, but almost he has taken down the site

lol Totally agree with you there. Idk if any of my stuff would have gotten stolen as the "good" stuff that he might have wanted are all photomanips XD I am still so pissed off about this tho :/

Actually, he took a bit of everything, so it might be a good idea to scan through the images at some point if you can. I know I did, but I would have laughed in a grim manner if I actually found one on it. (I didn't in all of the 4,252 images, though.) More reason for me to hate this guy's guts and get involved more. Oh well.

Yeah I've been keeping an eye on the list of people and I did look at some of it before the site was down. I seriously doubt any of my stuff was good enough for him to steal anyway... since all my stuff is mostly pencil sketches and half completed things besides the photomanips. I'll have to take some time to check out the screenshots tho.

I went through the entire list of thumbnail images on [link] (Yes, all 4,252 images.) and was honestly surprised at some of the things he took. Some of them were WIPs or just outlines, and some were things that could be done in five seconds in PS. I'm not saying that they were in the majority, or that they even made up half of what was taken, but they were still there.

In this case it's better to be safe than sorry. Besides, the more people we find in relation to those pictures, the bigger the case we have against this guy is.

By the way, I took a quick glance through your gallery, and I don't remember seeing any of those pieces on the list. The one I was unsure on I checked with TinEye, and nothing came up, so I think you're safe. :P

Wow O.o.. that's crazy. And thanks for checking for me. If he had taken any of my stuff I dont know what I would have done because I dont have a lawyer or money to pay for one. This is just a huge mess and I'm really hoping they put it on some TV stations and the Colbert Report or something soon. It needs some major attention. :/

Well, :iconalexiuss: is already setting the case up, and some other people are joining him in it to help it get stronger. I'd think that it'd be better to do all of it in one single case than a few hundred individual ones, anyway, both time wise and punishment wise.

I'm still surprised that this has avoided media attention so far, to be honest, and it's just making me angrier because it's making it seem like one monster's reputation or the media's reputation is more important than the entire world of art, which I feel is an insult. Without us there wouldn't be a lot of things, and people don't want to realize that. And now I'm just getting off topic a bit, so I'll stop ranting before I go on a double rage streak. [/rant]

She doesnt appear to be active on DA right now tho so idk if she is gonna see it or if anyone has already notified her but I found this one: [link] in that list that you gave me :/

This guy is also committing address fraud. The address in the footer of art4love leads to a chain restaurant in Palm Beach, Florida. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with Lieberman, who is living in New York. The phone number for art4love doesn't match the phone number for the restaurant, either.

Here's the address on google maps: [link]

Here's the restaurant's site: [link]

And here's information saying that the restaurant is owned by a man named Mike Costello: [link]

So if anybody is contacting the FBI about this, be sure to mention this other illegal thing he's done.

The worst part is that if he actually managed to sell this stolen art for those outrageous prices, he could definitely have made this legally by sharing the profits with the artists. A site like deviantart but oriented towards selling prints isn't that bad of a idea if you make it in a legal way.

But yeah, thinking up of a legal way would have had required both a brain and a soul, two things the guy apparently didn't have.

Believe it or not, but this is an issure FBI and the US Supreme Court would be very interested in. This guy not only stole your works and is selling them illegally, but he violated your copyrights. DA gave each and everyone of us a copyright on all of the work we put up here so if something like this was to happen, we would have a reason and a way to strike back.

This here will tell you all about copyrights and what you can do if your rights were infringed. -[link] The people who had their works stolen have every right to sue the living daylights outta this guy.

you maybe able to file your complaints to here- www.ic3.gov or here- [link]

I'll update more when i find more info.

It costs about 10-20 $ to buy those types of "godaddy" domains. Sure the registrant is e-records but the there's no guarantee the thief isn't some other person using those addresses as a proxy.

Ugh, this is sick. I hate people that treat artists like we're ethereal magicians that shoot pretty pictures from our nether regions for the soul purpose of selling it as if we never existed. I wish more people treated us and our work with respect. In other words, can we smash his head in with rocks?
