To put it simply, 2018 sucked, but I survived it. I feel I'm stronger. Looking over my goal from last year, I realize that I didn't really achieve any of them. It's a bitter pill to swallow. This last year, I spent focusing on family and then myself and back to family.
There was a lot of family drama in March with my cousin (and close friend) being involved in a head-on car crash that killed two people, including her best friend. The investigation cleared her of any legal wrongdoing, but that doesn't help her emotional and mental recovery. Nine months later, she refuses to drive or spend more than an hour in a car.
