Most of the time, I think DA is a really healthy and beneficial community to artists. It is a place where ideas in context with art are exchanged freely, advice is given, great work is rewarded with admiration, and people learn from one another, etc, etc...but once in a while I encounter artists/comments/art work that belong(s) elsewhere, to put it bluntly in the trash...It seams to me that some people on DA are bound and determined to undermine the very purpose of an artistic community. Part of art is praise and admiration to be sure, but another part of art is criticism; even though art is "subjective" in terms of mood, subject matter, etc,
