To Nemo's Surprise

Description

Having dinner by a porthole at The Blue Mermaid at Fisherman's Wharf brought up something I've wanted to do for a very long time.  Back in the day, obtaining portholes was difficult.  Now it's as easy as the internet (if quite expensive).  I'm planning more elaborate scenes, but I'm glad I started with something relatively simple.  I had all sorts of technical difficulties with this.
This particular one is a "non-functioning" porthole, a resin casting, but seems quite authentic.

Since I had no intention of printing this, I varnished it before photography, always a mistake.  Lots of glare, both sheen and many tiny bits.

Model is the lovely www.deviantart.com/fumei-kara , a great poser!
