Mangled: The Steel Fortress- Chapter 2

Enter Adrienne Lewis. He was a doctor, the best one in the Fortress. He was sweet, caring, and incredibly pansexual. He wasn't scared of blood, though he felt like he should have been, and he was very easily frightened. He loved his friends, the guy who owned Caffeine Corner was pretty hot, and he most definitely loved his family. Even though his brother was terrifying, his dad was crazy, his mom was dead, and he and his sister were the only sane ones in the entire family. And he wasn't even sure about that last fact. One of his best friends didn't want him to perform a surgery on her that would save her a lot of pain and trouble, one was in

Sabrina sighed contentedly as she twisted around in her bed, smiling at the warmth of the soft blanket. Music softly played in the headphones Android and Ahiga had made her, which is why she didn't realize how loudly her door was being banged on. Her eyes fluttered open as she noticed an irregular thump thump thump followed by odd, out-of-tune background singers. She was a little confused but assumed that it was just a glitch or a strange beat in the song. She tried to focus on what was being said, but it was a little too harsh for her to understand. Some kind of outside noise? She pulled off one side of her headphones, eyebrows furrowed. "-A

Darkness and rage took up most of her life. Was it miserable? Yes. Was it terrifying? Definitely. But was it worth it? Too worth it. She was curled into that cage, that same old musty cage that was filled with chains and wires and the scent of blood. Rust scraped at her skin, but evolution- survival of the fittest, to be more specific- had significantly strengthened humans. Immune systems could take on cancer due to the vast amount of the condition. Humans had adapted to their terrible environment, and it had made them ten times as strong. Humans used to be weak, mass death being caused by a disease that didn't even affect anybody anymore. Ch

I really didn’t know whether to laugh or to cry. Ricky had been beaming at me the entire time, even before we had reached the school, and when he had picked me up in his little beaten-up car, he had complimented the dress I had worn, a white flowy one that faded into a light blue. I couldn’t stop smiling, anticipating the night. But when I had stood on the grounds, I didn’t know what to do. That was when Ricky took my hand and led me in. We had been at the school for about an hour now, and already my cheeks and ears were warm from dancing, something I thought I’d never have done without Ricky. But I really needed a br

Oh, crap. Forget what I said about telling him. I could see Ricky glancing at me, and starting to advance. I knew I was so screwed. I should have never sent that message. I started inching away, then turned around and started swiftly walking away. I just hoped that he would get lost in the crowd of high schoolers and parents. I took a deep breath, smelling the scent of grass and dirt, and, to my dismay, some of the football players had apparently already started sweating. I weaved around people, away from the noise of voices and the band playing. I wasn’t quite used to the din anyways, and the night air would be good for me. Finding

“Do you think it’ll fit?” “Ummmmm…” Rosie turned around, trying to examine herself in the mirror. The Homecoming Dance was only slightly below in importance compared to the Snow Ball Prom, which was in a few months. The Homecoming was just one week from now, and Rosie’s mom had bugged both of us to go shopping for fancy apparel together. Rosie held up a pink dress, tight around the bodice and flowy past the waist. She held it up with skepticism. “What do you think?” “Ummmmm…” I had really no advice to give. I usually didn’t go clothes shopping. “I don

I’m sitting in math class, staring at the test that was handed out. It’s about five days into the school year, and Mr. Juliene wanted to see how well we knew the curriculum. One problem, however… this one problem was new to me. In fact, the entire test was slightly new, since a lot of it was actually what we were going to learn. So, technically, it was semi-pretest. I ran my fingers through my thick hair. I was seriously confused, but everyone else in the classroom seemed to be doing just fine. In fact, terrifically. “Uggghhh,” I mutter under my breath. This was making me really confused. I didn’t know ho

I’m sitting on the bus, and I have no clue what I’m going to do. No clue. Every guy who’s friends of ours (and not even that) know that I like Alex. Even dudes who aren’t in our grade know. And they just won’t shut up about it. Today is the first day of school, and I’m terrified. Terrified because I know Alex will be there. I’m sitting in Honors English, the first period of the day. I already disliked this day. The people were too loud, this chair was too hard, and being with a group of idiots who I was surprised could actually read was not my idea of a good morning. My Bio
Hello. I am socially anxious, so don't expect that much talking or anything from me. (i'll talk tho lol)
I'm kidding. If you want to call me something, Williwaw or Alex will do. I want to die 24/7, however, you'll find that I like to look at the bright side of things. If you tell someone to kill themselves here or anywhere I can see it, be prepared for a living HELL, because I WILL give it to you.
The living hell, not anything else.
Oh, God. My anxiety really does show.
So. Uh, don't be afraid to talk to me, I guess. I'll accept critiques on my art, however, I will defend my own style if you try to talk me into changing it.
I like dragons and Pokemon and LOTR. Do you see now why I'm bad at talking to people?
Smaug is my favorite dragon. Unwanted fact, however, I don't care, because I don't think YOU care enough to actually go down and comment at me about it.
So, uh, have a nice life, I guess.
