Mars Settler Transport Landers and Cargo Landers on arrival.

Artwork featured in Issue 34 of 3D Art Direct Magazine Link here

Image is part of a future historical setting, see my journal entry Orion’s Arm Future History, A Synopsis.

A Timeline Graph is to be found here: Timeline.

Foreground Right is a Settler Transport, another can be seen middle foreground left – beyond these are unmanned Cargo Landers. Both vehicle types are of similar scale, with a main hull diameter of 185 feet, just short of 200 feet high with gears-extended.

Landing site is a (relatively) flat plane bounded by the chaos terrains and eroded lava flows of Syria Planum in the Tharsis region of Mars.

For an overview of the evolution of the Mars Settlement at Syria Planum Landing see the following links:

An image of the Mars Settlement a few months after the settler’s arrival is available here: A Hard Day’s Night.

For a view of the Mars Settlement imaged within the first few years after landing see my image: Syria Planum Landing.
