I was born and raised in New England of european descent and enjoyed the encouragement of a father who taught me that I could do anything if I would just try and not give up.
As a result, I have tried many things in my life and have an unusually wide range of experiences. I am a Yale scientist by education and currently serve as a President and CEO of a global corporation. I pilot small aircraft, play acoustic guitar, enjoy photography, and have been richly blessed with a wonderful family. I travel the world extensively and have done 98% of my drawings in the seat of a commercial airliner at 37,000 feet in the space of 2 to 3 hours time each.
My purpose is non-commercial and is merely to enjoy mastering pencil drawing and to encourage and challenge others to believe that they too can become self-taught artists. I welcome comments from the art community and fellow pencil artists. If you have witnessed me drawing in an airliner, or just want to leave a comment, I would love to hear from you by using the email information on my website www.willhuebner.com .
