Deadpool and the Mediocrity of Metagags

Sorry I haven't posted full art in a while, work and stop motion got in the way (along with several computer upgrades both software and hardware) but here's a piece based on my annoyance to self aware comedies as of late.

Like if it's used correctly, it can work but you also gotta be reserved and not tell the viewer stuff they can infer on their own. Also, if you try to point out the obvious to look "smart", you inveterately come off as annoying/ smarmy to the viewer.

I mean i used to really be into it but now I rather see 4th Wall Breaks used more thoughtfully, like existential horror is kind of a good route, have the character(s)' sanity dwindle as their perceptions is challenged beyond conventional comprehension to the point of insanity.
