The Captain

The stoic Captain stood at the wheel while his crew slid and scrambled below him like monkeys.  The mighty wind whipped the torrential rain into a drowning gale as the furious sea churned and threw itself at the injured ship relentlessly.  Distant lightning split the sinister clouds; wide-eyed pirates braced for the coming swell.  Neptune sinuously tossed his aquatic black hair and as the giant wave came down, the ship went with it: under the surface of the hurricane confusion and down, down drifting slowly deeper into the solemn depths of the ancient salt waters and their quiet darkness. The Captain awoke among naked mermaidens on a craggle

I saw it in slow motion, I saw it as lightning flashed, Who would have thought? A downed tree, on that street, We were moving too fast. I thought 'this is it'. Then we hit it, I realized my love had no seatbelt, His neck through the windshield. His head harldy on, killed no doubt, I was numb, but alive, The radio was still playing, Rain poured through the punctured windshield, The wipers worked still. And completed his decapitation, In one foul movement, as his blood flowed. And it thinned as it mixed with the rain, And the wipers wiped till bood ran no more, And the music played till the battery died.

I'm at school in Pepperdine, finally.  It's in Malibu, CA.  It's gorgeous here, and I'm loving it.   I might start experimenting in photography now that I have all this beauty to take pictures of.  I've started recording my dreams, so I might start posting those, which could get interesting.
