Link of the Wild
I've been playing around with my gouache paints some more. I've also been playing through Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild (and LOVING it!) So ultimately I planned to paint one of my screencaps from the game (something with a more original composition,) but I just love some of the promo art for the game, so I decided to "practice" with this one first. Needless to say, I got a bit carried away with it and spent more time on it than planned. So I figured that I might as well share it with all of you anyways. Let me know what you think!

Ohhh, the coloring looks fantastic, overall really nice job!
I don't know if it's just me, and it's more of just a minor thing, but I think the black used on the eyes is too dark?
All the other colors are so soft as well as the outlines for the rest of his body, that the outline of the eyes looks a bit abrupt? Idk ; w ;

I think you are right. I definitely didn't intend for them to be that dark. My brush must have been a it more saturated than I anticipated.
Oh yeah hate when that happens when working in traditional!
