I don't take requests for models or stories.

If you want to send me a note or DM, please say more than just 'hello'. Let me know why you're messaging me.

My VA for Edward has had to withdraw from the role, so I'm looking for someone to play the part. I've put together an audition script with instructions, which can be found here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ZLlv8gWZyqa5wfmmM72WSozQrU6i94Z_/view?usp=sharing. If interested, please get your recording to me by the 10th of October.

I've been thinking recently about the 'sentience' of the characters in the Railway Series, and how it works. My personal theory is that the 'being' of an engine - their memories, personality, etc. is infused into all of their parts, but the nexus of this is in the smokebox. So as long as at least 75% of the original parts are intact, or the smokebox itself is intact, then they're still alive. Furthermore, an engine isn't 'alive' until the first time they're steamed up - this is when the face first appears. Hence, when Gordon had his accident in Winds of Change, more than 3/4 of him was still intact, even though his smokebox was destroyed. As such, he survived. This also accounts for Henry's rebuild - the smokebox was transplanted. As such, I'll be taking this approach going forward. It's probably not going to come up that often, but this is what I'll be working to when it does.

Excuse me. Mr. Dan. Do in canon do you know who owned the gauge converter wagon? Was the Skarloey Railway? The Sodor and Mainland? or the Crovans Gate Mining Company?

I think it would have been the S&M.

Ah I see. very interesting cause in the late 19th century Skarloey had to go back to whitehaven for an overhaul. And according to the Unlucky tug and I think Luke Ryan. The practice of using the converter wagon actually put strain on Skarloey since the distance was long and the trucks much heavier for a narrow gauge engine like Skarloey. My theory is that, converter wagon was the contributing factor of Skarloey's first overhaul.

I agree with that. It makes a lot of sense.

Hi, Dan. Thanks for the fave of my sprite picture.

I've watched all 13 TUGS episodes recently, and I realised that there's some differences between the 15 minute and 20 minute versions of some of them. For example, in Munitions, one version had Big Mickey destroyed but the other one, he was fine. Do the 15 minute versions of the episodes happen within the canon of STMY or the 20 minute versions?

I haven't really thought about it. It's mentioned that Big Mickey was destroyed in one upcoming episode, so that's canon.
