When you paint an animal do you take a picture of it, then paint from that or do you paint the animal while it is sitting there?
did you get the long reply I did to this? I have a feeling it deleted.
yes I did and thank you it was helpful I now know what you mean about having to see an animal first. I've drawn an animal from live reference for the first time and it is much better than from picture alone.
