Why shouldn't your jewelry be as unique as you are?
My story really began when I started designing for myself in the mid-1980's. Have always had a very clear image of what I want, but couldn't always find it. Then the "Eureka!" moment came when I thought, "I'll make it myself." I would draw my design, and take it to a jeweler to replicate. I always got so many compliments on these designs. It occured to me I should be making, and marketing, them. While I was still in the engineering field, and using AutoCAD, I brought my design knowledge to my jewelry creations. My first website was created in June of 1999. It featured my "cutout" line, which includes all the zodiac astrological constellations, as well as other designs, pierced into one's choice of precious metal. These were an immediate hit, as they were unlike anything else at the time. Everything since 2000 has been a growing experience, as I continue to develop my skills and explore new styles and materials.
There isn't much more to add that isn't covered already. I have been an artist ever since I can remember. I love to lose myself in the creation process. It's so fulfilling knowing my art has brought joy to another. Nothing beats doing what you love!
