I’ve been getting frustrated with my eternally long list of things to draw and unfinished sketches that I never get to, so I’ve been working on-and-off on some colored sketch pages, so I can do things I otherwise might not have gotten to. The first one features scenes with Alcatraz! (no idea what to name it xD)
Welcome to Aryn (Raghaalr and Alcatraz):iconwildfire-tama: Alcatraz stalked into the main den site of Aryn, his amber eyes narrowed irritable. He had heard of a new member within the ranks. Alcatraz did not like new members. Not until he trusted them. Although he supposed Athena must trust them, so how bad could they be…? Still, his suspicions were high.
He approached the female with his head and tail high, as a Gamma would approach a new Omega. She was a dark female, covered in scars and with bright scarlet eyes on her lowered muzzle. Her appearance was certainly not reassuring to the protective dark male. ”Greetings, Raghaalr,” he greeted her gruffly, his voice unfriendly and not even trying to be kind. But in a way, the fact he was talking to her at all was kind in his eyes. He was giving her a chance to get on his good side, or his bad side. Every opinion he held of the female was to be determined in the next moments. ”I understand you are the new wolf in the pack.” He paused,
[DotW] Black Bear and Brown Bear----------
Wildfire-Tama said the following:
Alcatraz stalked into the main den site of Aryn. His pack was very new, with only Athena, Charaka, Seaver, himself, and little Riley. But there was a newcomer in their midst. A newcomer her still did not trust… Raghaalr. Alcatraz was very distrustful of loners now that he was part of a pack again, as if he had forgotten that everyone who made up the pack were very recently loners themselves. But Alcatraz didn’t think of them as loners. He thought of them all as friends. And now this new wolf had come, a wolf he didn’t know at all, and a wolf who was not his friend, just a loner. Alcatraz would not have his history repeating itself…
He came across the dark she-wolf. ”Raghaalr!” He barked, ”Come hunting with me. The pack needs more food.” Alcatraz knew that the only way to get to know her was to spend time with her. This time would either reveal that she was okay, or (more likely in
The Bears Fight a Bear (Raghaalr and Alcatraz):iconwildfire-tama: Alcatraz stalked into the Aryn den site. It was a lovely spring afternoon, and Alcatraz had some patrolling to do. He saw Raghaalr resting in the clearing and decided he ought to bring her along. The more time he spent with her the more he could judge whether or not she could be trusted. ”Raghaalr.” Alcatraz barked, ”You are coming with me on a border patrol.” He said, very clearly a command. He watched her with his pale yellow eyes.
:iconzoketi: While it was a perfect day for relaxing and dozing off, some seemed to think it would be just as good for running around the territory. Raghaalr didn't have a problem with this. She'd much prefer going on a patrol when it was nice and breezy rather than humid and hot or stormy. She rolled quickly to her paws at the demanding call, shaking some of the debris that had stuck to her thick shaggy fur. Facing the brown-colored male, she stretched contently and then wandered over, movements lo
Down By the River (Killian and Alcatraz)Alcatraz scanned the clearing of the main den site, his eyes on the lookout for one wolf; his son Killian. The children of the Alphas were growing quickly, and already the juveniles were ready to take on tasks. Killian’s chosen path was Warden, just like his father. But it would take a lot of hard work to become a Warden. Not to mention, this meant his son would be putting himself in harm’s way to protect his packmates. Alcatraz had to personally make sure he was being trained properly, so he would be well armed against any intruder.
He finally caught sight of his son and strode over, “Killian,” he announced, “congratulations on your promotion. Now are you ready to start training?”
Taking upon a task has been exciting, yet nerve racking. Each task was thought over carefully, yet only a Warden seemed fitting to him. He didn't want to be a Vicar because he did not see himself being a healer or a spiritual leader. The image of a kind, peac
