Black Hat stands a distance away from the church, watching as the town’s people walk inside; after a few weeks another priest had taken over the church and is now holding weekly sermons. Flug walks up beside him, figuring this is where he’ll go to. It has been a month since he had to drag Black Hat out of the church to save him. He already looks so much healthier now. He decided to ditch his old clothes, not wanting to be reminded of his fake life; he is now wearing a nice suit and tie. Flug decided to become an actual priest but never serves in any church, in case that other demon comes back for Black Hat. Flug notices Black Hat looking longingly at the church and decides to say something. “It really is a shame that the whole life you knew was a lie; you really were a great priest.” “I never should have been a priest; I never should’ve even been near a church. WARNING: LOTS OF VOMITING All the spots are filled up when he begins speaking, “Before we begin, I want to thank you all for coming to this special sermon. Since this is going to be a long one, I have some snacks and drinks set up on the tables next to the wall. You are welcome to get up at any time and get those. I also have an announcement to make; Flug, come on up.” Flug suddenly gets very nervous. He walks up on the stage feeling like he did on that first day. “I would like to thank you Flug, for helping me set all of this up. You’ve come a long way since you first stepped foot in the church. I would like you to continue helping me out in everything I do. I hereby name you my assistant.” Flug is completely shocked. He feels like he is in a dream; he never thought he was important, or that he would be useful to somebody. He finally feels like he truly belongs somewhere; and that is here. Flug beams, saying, “Thank you Father.” and walks back to his front-row seat.

After Flug helps Father Black Hat clean up the church from the day he goes into his room and starts reading his Bible. An hour later he decides that was enough reading and he places his Bible in the drawer and turns off the lamp to go to sleep. It’s about 2:00 AM when Flug wakes up again. He had another dream that was distressing. He takes out his Bible and starts flipping through the pages looking for something that might help him but he has no idea where to look. Maybe Father Black Hat can help him tonight and show him where to look. He walks towards his room and knocks on the door. There’s no answer again. He hopes it won’t be like last night again as he opens up the door. The room is almost pitch black even with his candle, but he can just barely make out Black Hat tossing and turning in his bed from the light. He is grunting softly in his sleep. Then his fingers transform into claws and he makes what sounds like a growl. The candle is blown out and Flug slams the door

This is the first time Flug has sat through a full sermon and he could see why Father Black Hat is indubitably respected and deeply honored. His voice is strong and commands your attention. His stance is confident and he holds himself high. He never falters and everyone that sits there listening feels compelled to listen to every word he says and they would no doubt do whatever he says to do if he ever says so. After the sermon, the rest of the day is uneventful. Flug has been lying in bed for hours, unable to fall asleep. There’s something else plaguing his mind that he needs to talk to Father Black Hat about. He lights up the candle by his bedside and brings it with him as he walks toward Black Hat’s room and knocks on the door gently; there is no answer. He opens the door thinking on Father Black Hat’s word that he could come to him any time of the day or night. He sees Black Hat in a deep sleep, snoring softly. There aren’t many people at the store, but the people that are there are gawking at Black Hat the whole time. Flug picks out five shirts and five pants and as they’re paying, the cashier at the front says, “Oh, Father Black Hat, it is such an honor to have you here!” He chuckles saying, “Oh please, I’m just another person who needs clothes from here.” The cashier asks him to pray for her cousin, who is sick and in the hospital. He says he will, and she says “Thank you so much Father. Bless you!” He smiles at her, saying “You all have a blessed day.” Then they both leave. Flug looks up at Father Black Hat. “Why was everyone just staring at you?” “Well I don’t normally get out of the church much, and I guess people see me as some sort of idol. I try not to pay too much attention to the staring, and try to remind them that I’m just another person, like them.” They get back to the church and Father Black Hat goes to make lunch while Flug goes to

Flug startles awake from a bad dream and looks at the clock; it’s 11:00 PM. He completely missed the sermon and asking Father Black Hat if they could go shopping for clothes. Flug quietly opens the door and looks around; then he sees a tray in the hall next to his door with food and water on it. He smiles, thankful that the priest had left dinner out for him. He takes the tray in and closes the door behind him and starts to eat. It’s 11:30 PM when he finishes and his dream is weighing heavily on his mind, reminding him of bad things he has done in the past. He is contemplating whether or not to wake Father Black Hat to talk to him, since it’s most likely he’s already sleeping. He did say Flug could come to him anytime of the day or night, and Flug feels he won’t be able to go back to sleep unless he talks about it. He comes out of his room, sets the tray down where he found it and goes to Father Black Hat’s room, knocking on the door gently. The next thing he hears is

I'm Not Dead

It's been two years since I said or did anything on here, and I've barely been on here since then. I haven't given up on this website yet! I'm still working on things; just very, very slowly. I've been mostly just slacking off, but I'm starting to get my stuff together. I was drawing character heads in a big drawing pad I have a few months ago but have stopped since I started working on an Amazing Digital Circus fanfic more (I will post those drawings once the pages have been filled). You can start reading it now on AO3 if you're logged in, otherwise I will post it on here once it's completed like my last fanfic (same name but replace the dash with an underscore). I'm not sure how long it'll be until I'm done with it but I'm close to completing "part 1". I'm also planning on writing another fanfic for TADC but that won't be written for a while. I have started on the All Dogs go to Heaven fanfic but I've only written almost one page for it and I forgot exactly what I wanted to write so
