Six hands to her face To soak up the tears The blanket her mind is keeping For her winter soul And no one can tell her And no one can claim That her's is the same She sees through panicked eyes An inkblot of the world's shame. The water made me holy But hell will eat me whole Tonight The quiet Have faith.

First we dance on ocean floors Oblivious to all the bones And pieces of forgotten shores Crushed beneath our feet Til the day it sadly strikes us That we have come only to go A never ending treadmill To a never ending beat Its a scary truth when gotten to Once known, never forgotten It will only keep you up at night With creatures of the mind Your search for meaning goes around First one, and then the other Once found, you may be certain But to the next, completely blind You say you know a god up there Your only proof the voice within That talks of evilness and sin And the serpent in the tree I say that I might have no sou

Special in its stature And placed upfront An inevitable end For consequential friends, We are not as they made us We are not what they gave us We refill their glasses And write them notes Signed anonymously. Back in the days Forgiveness and praise We all know Sound never decays, As the wind carries Another type of wave, We sip martinis Ever lazy Relaxed and content in our shame. We can't black out the sun But we cast a shadow, Now its said and done A lively run We slide under the doormat, Another lost key To a home you can't see, But once inside You know you're there Because the music is young, And everywhere.

I lost my love on a weekday She was brushing up leaves from her path It seemed the way was open By the way the light fell And the swell of my blood Left a hole in the floor to fall into. With no force at first I equal the ration The rational sleeps Cold in myself, I couldn't see the vacuum for the sky Lost in the stomach of a beast I couldn't see I could see The facts went down the drainpipe But the reality stayed We are slaves Habit and regression Sorrow and panic playing on the TV For all to see? And we spin The soft sea The fury The sickening twirl The lost girl Almost lost forever A fallen painting on the floo

People in watercolour I'm can see them ready to run Mascara droplets the size of golfballs No sound is bouncing off these walls The vague looks The mind is elsewhere If a suit could talk I wonder what he'd say Day after day The rush hour shower Make up Take off Headphone nation for imagination Bus box and no conversation The humanity is inescapable And irretrievable The school bells ring In the office block We all go to the city For some alone time People in watercolour Indistinct Melting into eachother Coming out of eachother This way and that way This way and that

So once the bridges were built And burnt away again and again Once the jigsaw fell into place After being dropped like brimstone onto glass Once I forgot what it was like To be fortunate, The degree shifted The powers rose And we were all spun and shocked into place Steel bolts through my hands And the currents surged. He said ' You know what's coming. 'something old something new somethingborrowedsomethingblue it all ran together and it didnt stop. And it still goes on and on and on.' Off. Why punch the wall, When you can just flick the switch? Off. The powers rose. I flicked the switch. Off. The sounds that com

The afternoon climax come and closes Doors are shut i hope the cabin's fever doesn't rise It often does in times like these Why dont you smile Once in a while? Once in a while, Be like a child Your baby blue eyes Hold more than mystery, darling. the light is changing the flat clouds drift Like concrete slabs hanging, waiting, About to fall and crush the city, No one would know and no one would care But it could happen Who says it wont? I dont. I wont say no To anything.

APOCALYPSE SONG NO.1 (shockwave) You were working on Some kind of miracle To change the lives Of the living You tried so hard For nothing We are heading For nothing Why dont you catch my disease? So this is it Feelings are ending. People are dying from my point of view And there's nothing i can do to stop it. So what now? More ambiguous meetings? More small-talkified conversations? Hearing loss Consciousness Bittersweet nostalgia? Give me a home Where the buffalos roam And you can have an interesting conversation with a deer. Smile for me baby! I like you and you like me the friends we are Is no friend To this sphere of influence And lack of affluence. I would run away If it werent so cliche.

Skyscrapers Like anthills in the sands of time People about their daily lives And me out of mine. A body on the beach Wouldn't raise a policeman's eyebrow But, like many other things, Sees me through the night Men with toy guns That kick cans along the pavement They try to survive As best they can. Its warmer outside But comfortable within A light comes on In the penthouse across the way And afterwards I wonder what it was like.

Over and over and around. It never stops to let us rest and it never gives a breather. Does anyone else feel really tired?

For those of you i haven't blessed with the knowledge, i now have excellent wireless internet in my very room. its a very very room. So the latest development in what can only be referred to as the "studio to end all life forms", is an exciting preoccupation with waking eachother up in increasingly amusing and painful ways. it all started when a 120cm high speaker was lugged into my room whilst i was returning from hangover town at 10am one morning, which would have been okay, had the speaker not been blaring System of a Down at 100dB. My housemates then proceeded to mosh on my bed. Hilarity had ensued. This was followed by a brash wake-up
