Description
I'm playing with some new spiral eyes and need help deciding which is better. Here are a couple of mid range shots of Strapp (tiny preview of the next Dippylark comic) Do you prefer #1 with color or #2 just black & white? Thank you for your help
Update: I added the download feature. Not sure if that helps viewing. I want to make sure whatever spirals I use look good from a distance. So far, the results are pretty evenly split. Ordinarily I would probably go with the black and white swirls, but I'm trying to nail down a spiral effect that can be Dippylark's own signature swirls which is why I tried out a color version. I'll post some tests of Dippy with the swirls, that might be a better indicator. Thanks to everyone who responded, you all have been so very helpful!

When I do colored spirals, I typically use white and color, instead of black and color. It helps bring out the color more.
