This is the one, 25px of real estate only taken up, everything on that one line, looks the biz too, this one I'm proud of.
Firstly navigate to the following folder: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application\1.5.618.8\resources\vivaldi\style, USER is your username and your version number may vary, mine is the latest snapshot.
Unzip my custom-css.zip and place the css file into the folder that you just navigated to.
Secondly navigate to the following folder: C:\Users\USER\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\Application\1.5.618.8\resources\vivaldi , In this folder you will find a browser.html file, open this in Wordpad or a text editor of your choice,
add this code <link rel="stylesheet" href="style/custom.css" /> directly underneath <link rel="stylesheet" href="style/common.css" /> , save and exit, start Vivaldi, enjoy.
This is a very minimal UI theme, meaning certain buttons are disabled as default. I am using 2 .js mods from vivaldi.net/forum/modification… , home button and bookmark button only, I recommend them hugely, read the thread for any changes I needed.
Vivaldi settings, maybe more let me know if something IS broken:
Tabs on top.
Dark Theme - customize:
Background: #1b1e25
Foreground: #ececec
Highlight: #a34b4e
Accent: ##a34b4e
All boxes under the colors unchecked.
Double click to close tabs enabled, just doesn't look right with close buttons.

Hey there, you may remember me, I asked about adding the tab title back on the active tab in one of your Line themes for Firefox, it was on UserStyles though. Anyway, I've spent half the day reuniting with Vivaldi and was tinkering with customization, and who do I come across? My favorite theme creator for Firefox, and now possibly Vivaldi as well!
Now that I got the meta out of the way, I'm gonna give this a go, I'll report back, maybe tomorrow, it's been a long day. Just wanted to congratulate you on yet another excellent piece of art, you truly do some wonderful work!!
