Back to that fated day...
Luz's shout is heard again, "Please, don't! We gotta stick together!"
Still on Esper's shoulder... King nods at the witchling, who nods back. He then gives the human a tearful grin, "Luz, I'm so happy I had you as a big sister."
He inhales deeply before releasing his sonic shout! This makes Luz's hand lose her grip on Esper's own! The screech launches her, Amity, Willow, Gus, and Hunter completely knocked through the portal and into Human Realm together...
The pair can see Luz land on the ground and begin to get up, "Esper! King!"
But the portal door closes... And then explodes into pieces.
