Aspen growled, finding nothing in between the boulders. She scowled at Starsilk, the little bat that cowered under her glare. Aria walked over, the crunch of twigs created beneath the weight of her steps. Looking over to her big bird in such a dense forest made Aria giggle. Reaching up, Aria softly cooed to her Gryph friend, petting her chest feathers. "It's okay, Aspen! Let's try and look again, yeah? Maybe we can find something else among all this forestry." Aspen huffed, but Aria's words groomed out her frustration. Her rider was right; just because they didn't find anything this time would not mean they couldn't find anything the next!...
