10 Rose Return!!!David Tennant and Billie Piper Are Making More Doctor Who—But There’s a Catch

The popular pair will re-unite as the Doctor and Rose Tyler for the first time in nearly a decade.
Wen it was first announced back in 2013 that beloved Doctor Who companion Billie Piper would be joining the equally popular series star David Tennant for the 50th Anniversary Special, Whovian hearts started fluttering. Would we see the reunion of time-crossed lovers Rose Tyler and the 10th Doctor? Sadly, no. Not only was Piper not really even playing Rose, but evil genius Steven Moffat had arranged it so that the pair was kept apart for most of the episode. And when they did share a scene together, Piper’s character wasn’t visible to Tennant’s Doctor. They were extremely telegenic ships in the night.

Episode 4: Barn Teachers

"Uhh, Steven? I think she's broken?" Peridot said.
"Are you alright, Emerald?" Steven was worried.
Emerald nodded vigorously. Amethyst laughed so hard as she watched the green gem make a fool out of herself.
"Anyway, Emerald will be joining the Crystal Gems!" Steven said.
"Joining?" Peridot was perplexed.
"Don't be so sure, Steven!" Lapis cried out.
"C'mon Lapis." Steven smiled. "Just give her a chance."
"I-" Lapis clenched her fist. "Okay."
Emerald calmed herself when she heard that Lapis would give her a chance to meet everyone. She knew what a Lapis Lazuli was capable of. Especially a Lapis Lazuli's advantage, being besieged by large bodies of water was an unfair match.
In Homeworld, Lapis Lazuli's are known to be a terra former. Making sure that gems will be able to incubate kindergartens without ease in newly colonized planets. Episode 3: Gem Healer

"Amethyst..." Emerald couldn't believe what she's experiencing. She did not expect the purple gem to immediately forgive her. Emerald was filled with delight, she couldn't help herself but to smile at the smaller gem.
"What?" Amethyst said.
"Thank you." Emerald was so happy she turned over the purple gem and gave her a hug.
"I'm so glad that everyone is friends again!!" Steven cheered as he went towards the two gems and hugged them both. "Group hug!!!" the boy said in enthusiasm. Garnet and Pearl joined in as easily.
"We should actually get inside before Steven catches a cold." Pearl said.
"You heard her, everyone inside!" Garnet commanded.
Steven held Emerald's hand and leaded her inside. Amethyst followed them from behind.
Pearl and Garnet paused in front of the door.
"I hope they get along soon." Pearl said.
"I have high hopes in Steven. He could handle this." Garnet nodded.
