I'm Back, My Maximillion

Cecelia Pegasus, wife of Maximillion Pegasus......Duel monster. Yes, I got a new headcanon that Cecelia Pegasus is actually a duel monster and when she died, she returned to the Duel monster world in her true form; Queen Angel of Roses. We only saw Cecelia from Pegasus's POV and not much is known about her, but as the catalyst for how Pegasus created duel monsters, I believe there is more to her than just being Pegasus's love of her life as she is the reason Duel monsters are in the world again since ancient times.

Headcanon: She was actually born in the Duel Monster world in the royal family of her land, making her a princess. Their powers involves roses and Cecelia, starting out as Rose Lover in the beginning, would train in combat as her Kingdom is a Matriarch and will someday become Queen Angel of Roses and lead her land.

But one day when she was eight, a war broke out between her kingdom and another monster kingdom and they were losing. Her parents, knowing Cecelia had to escape, and are uncertain of their kingdom'd fate or if Cecelia will ever come back, had a magician open a portal to the human world and told Cecelia to not reveal her true identity or that she's a duel monster as the humans in the past have abused their powers before and Cecelia will one day unleash hers. They told their daughter they love and she was pushed into the portal, and they were soon killed by the monsters.

Cecelia lands on earth in the country of America in the state of California. She wonders around the streets in rages, while being weary of her new surroundings and ready to fight to survive. Until a limo stopped and an older couple spotted young Cecelia and asked her if she was okay and if she knows where her parents were. She told them her parents were dead but did not go into detail about her identity other than her name is Cecelia, out of sympathy they took her home and got her fed and dressed in fresh clothes. And after gaining her trust, Cecelia accepted being part of their family as their adoptive daughter and was ready to start her new life on earth, but will still wonder about her old home and is weary of when her powers as Queen Angel of Roses will be unleashed.

One day, her adoptive father took her to a party where a Samuel Pegasus was holding a Gala for celebrities and many big shots all over the world, but the one that impressed her most was his son, Maximillion Pegasus. On that night, she fell in love with him and they have been together since.

Over the years as Pegasus started his art career, with her as his inspiration, she to went into having a career in the arts and got into theatre as well as being Pegasus's model. But despite her happiness with Pegasus and her new life, she still feared the day her powers will be awaken and often had nightmares about the war in her old land, and still did not know if she is able to return as the magical and the human worlds were divided.

One day, Pegasus asked her to marry him, and she happily said yes. But just as they said their vows, she was struck down by a devastating disease that the doctors could not figure out, but Cecelia knew that her disease was as it was an illness she suffered as a girl that came back with a vengeance when she arrived in the human world.

As she was dying in her bed, she tearfully said farewell to the world she's come to love and her beloved husband. When Cecelia closed her eyes, she opened them again and saw a paradise and immediately thought it was Heaven, until she saw a duel fairy guide her to her once destroyed castle.

Before Cecelia's death, she had unleashed her powers at last in the human world as Queen Angel of Roses and her spirit went to the Duel monster world where she finally became queen. Despite her living, she was sad she was now separated from her beloved Maximillion.

But soon she briefly saw Pegasus again, but to her confusion he had a strange golden eye that was bleeding. She didn't pay that much attention as she finally saw and felt her beloved husband again, but soon he disappeared, devastating her and she tried figuring out how he found her.

And when Pegasus created duel monsters, it started to become easier for duel monsters to go into the human world and were made aware of illnesses from Earth so they could get vaccinated by Fairy Lily. And Cecelia, while afraid of Pegasus learning the truth of who she was, awaits the day to see the man she loves again.
