Remarkably, you can get this far above La Paz, Bolivia (the highest capital city in the world, since Lhasa became a provincial capital with the Chinese occupation!) by truck! ...hence "Top Of The Road". You can see La Paz in the distance if you look very carefully.

who ever built this little house and cafe obviously had great faith in their dry-stone construction ability... that is a solid pile of stacked stones... madness! I got AMS again on this climb: went further up to a look out (behind the camera).

nice view but rather abit to near to the edge for my liking lol very much on the edge of life so to speak great shot but as you said who ever built this shack had faith in something fantastic

Thankyou. I agree. I especially like the half finished foundation for the bay window: they clearly started and then though "Hmm, seems to be staying up on its own... why bother."

This is so gorgeous! It deserves many more favs. It reminds me of that house that was on the edge of the cliff in "Up"

Thanks, glad you like it. Deviant art seems to end up with loads of favs on one or two works and virtually none else where. My "Red Wall 2" photo has loads, but people most people don't look at anywhere else in my gallery. Thanks for looking!
