The Elder Scrolls Online main website has featured our very own Isriana on their front page! I just wanted to point others to the page and give Isriana my personal congratulations. Your art is among my favorites on DA, and I love seeing you get recognition for it. He's where you can find the article.
What's With this Handbasket?
I'm not a fan of the journal cover images. All they show is a portion of whatever image you're trying to use. So. In light of the state of our lovely, magical world, I feature my photomanip, Where Are We Going? And What's With this Handbasket? M'kay. Now that that's out of the way, how have you all been? Schardein's House O' Madness went through about eight weeks of utter hell, but things have calmed down a bit. There's still a lot going on, but they're potentially very good things, and at least we aren't running around like chickens with our heads cut off at the moment. Here are some of the other good things I'm doing. Vampire: the Masquerade A friend and I are putting together a new VtM V.20 campaign out on Discord. We're a ways off from getting it running, but if any VtM fans or other roleplayers are interested in taking a look, let me know and I'll notify you when it's finally up. Or, if you're just interested in hearing our concept, I'll be glad to share that, too. I think it's
Cross Your Fingers in All Sorts of Ways.
Selene! So. I got this really wacky idea, and it might turn out to be nothing, or too over-the-top to be viable, but I'm going to work on it. I have pulled Selene, the main character in my Selene Stormblade fanfiction series, into Elder Scrolls Online. Game mechanics-wise, she's a new character. Story-wise, though, she's the same one who defeated Alduin and headed up the Thieves Guild with Brynjolf. How does this happen, you ask? Come on, you know you're wondering. Well, stay tuned. If it doesn't work out, I'll tell you what my thought was and why I scrapped it. In the meantime, cross your fingers. Michael Connor and Other Projects I'll still be working on Something Went Wrong, Apparently, too. It's weird. I write so much better during the cold months. Not sure why, but once October hits, my creative juices start flowing like mad. So there will be more of Michael coming soon. We're also still working hard on our second novel, and hopefully we'll have a first draft completed
World Mental Health Day (and other stuff)
If you haven't seen this article, read it. I didn't even know World Mental Health Day was a thing, but I think more people need a day like this this year than they have in a long time. I've said several times before, and I'll say it again: I am always here if any of you guys need to talk, vent, have a shoulder to cry on, or commiserate. I have plenty of mental and emotional issues of my own, and I understand what many of you are going through. Important Website I've been a member of 7cups.com for a while now, and it has been a great source of help for me. I'm a member as well as an "Active Listener." I honestly can't say enough good things about the place. Members can get advice, support, a place to just talk, and even real therapy with a licensed therapist. The therapy has a fee, but if you don't have the resources to pay, there are plenty of people there who can help you. Active Listeners are there to do just that--listen. They don't give advice; in fact, it's against the
Skyrim Build a Story
Just a reminder, we're still working on our Skyrim Build a Story. ripond and I are having a great time writing, but anyone and everyone is welcome to join us. Knowing the Skyrim characters and storyline is helpful, but it's not necessary. We would love to have you. However, if you're interested in reading but not writing it, be sure to fave it and check in. We've been updating several times a week, and we're still getting warmed up.
