Jokes aside, be aware that the humanoid inklings/octolings are like waaaaaaaaaay further in the evolutionary line than their normal sea counterparts, so this really isn't any sort of "cannibalism". Even the game itself constantly jokes about it by making the characters eat seafood all the time!
I suppose that in the worst hypothesis possible it would be the equivalent of humans eating primitive chimps, something that actually happens a lot LOL
