wow! you took us on another journey in your beautiful and breath-taking arts, dear Hazel... This time we are sailing to an unknown place. A mysterious place and only the moon and the stars know what will be our destination. Just love this mysterious art of yours...I am so captivated by your story told here. What is more, I feel a little bit anxious when I look at it... Oceans and seas are so beautiful but at the same time so powerful and scary. We can reach an amazing land full of merciful gods or kind people, or we can drown.

Love how you use lights and shadows, my dear, you are an excellent digital artist and story teller! Love the colors, the mood, the mysterious waters and the seagulls flying all around... It makes us wonder where those ships sail to and where they sail from... Love the majestic stones and the sky full of poetry... Your arts are incredible and fascinating...

Dear, you're a wonderful writer and a great poet! I love how you speak from your artistic and creative mind, you've a rich imagination. Thank you so much for showering me with praises, compliments and kindness, can't thank you enough:hug: I'm glad you like the scene and concept..this one was a different experience for me. Working on a large scale scene and especially the little details on the sea..but thanks a million times for decorating my work with colours of dreams and inspiration!!:tighthug: Have a beautiful day, dear, and take care!

This looks like a very adventurous trip. A risky passage through a dangerous strait. I think I'm glad I'm not on board.

Excellent arranged details Hazel! Between the swallow on the left that seems to be flying towards the ship and the moon on top right you're telling an exciting story.

I love the gloomy atmosphere you have created here. And even a full moon!

And, at least to me, there is a contrast here too! Not the cold-warm thing but instead I imagine the ship up front is being chased by the ships in the background. I don't know why, that just came to my mind when I saw the picture.

But dear oh dear do you have to be careful with steering. Rocks are looking out there like jagged teeth.

Altough when I read the title perhaps it's less of a hunt after one ship and more the search for treasure. Be it in a materialistic way (gold!) or wisdom.

Man...the times back then when people thought the earth was flat...must have been quite adventurous to sail the seas by ship.

Lol! Nice imagination;)

It's one of my favourite works, mainly because I tried a different style here..somewhat not-so emotional piece. I'm learning new skills and experimenting new techniques!

Maybe they are in search of manuscripts or artifacts or how about "The Black Island" You never know;)

It certainly looks like an exciting adventure, full of unexpected surprises with the birds flying around, the weather looks menacing..its definitely a risk to sail in such a treacherous sea. But the hearts of men are easily corrupted..:D

Well, the title is a Chinese proverb so maybe it can also be related to wisdom. They all set ot to prove to the world that the earth is not flat but round like a ball;)

Have you ever sailed on a boat or ship?

Anyeay, thank you so much for your interesting review and positive feedback Silvio, I'm glad you think so..^^:aww:
