"The Redeemers #0 was a Wizard World Chicago Exclusive and sold out. The first printing of The Redeemers #1 was officially released at Chicago's C2E2 convention in mid-April and it, too, sold out. Now we'd like the chance to make The Redeemers #2 an even bigger success.
'We' are Eric Rampson (writer) and Wil Brendel (artist). We're looking to raise funds to pay Wil a page rate (so that he doesn't have to try to squeeze drawing in between shifts at Denny's - it's hard to work with art that has Moons Over My Hammy smeared all over it), pay for printing costs, and hopefully offset some of our marketing (i.e. website and convention) costs.
The Redeemers is the story of a band that fights evil when they aren't rocking the faces off their fans (and sometimes, they do both at the same time). The guys all have something to atone for and they've decided to help themselves by helping others. Think Almost Famous + Buffy The Vampire Slayer and you're starting to get the idea."
And we need capital to do it! If you can afford to help, kick a few bucks our way over at our KickStarter page. We've got some awesome donation rewards up for grabs, too!

The Great Guitarblade Caper is complete!
Production on The Redeemers #5 has wrapped! Master storysmith Eric Rampson is finishing up his lettering, and should be sending the files off to our printer early this week, which will give us copies just in time for Indy Pop Con!
Devious Journal Entry
The apocalypse is coming, I'm updating my DA Journal. A lot has happened since... holy cats, May of 2014!? Okay, rapid-firing this thing.
Redeemers #4: Flame War came out, and people really like it! Including Silver Age comic writer, Tony Isabella! More on that in a later bullet point. We're currently working on Redeemers #5: The Great Guitarblade Caper. I'm coming up on halfway through the line art, and this is gonna be a fun one, kids. We're introducing a lot of new characters, and like Flame War before it, Guitarblade Caper has multiple plot threads going on simultaneously, and some great twists and turns along the way. We're hoping to hav
Redeemers #4 and C2E2
Well, my submission pace has slowed again, but that's because my writer Eric Rampson and I have kicked production of The Redeemers #4: Flame War into high gear! We're trying to get everything done in time to debut the book at C2E2 in late April. Should be plenty of time, too, as the penciling and inking stage is wrapping up. We've brought in our favorite pinch hitter, Lore ~SakuraL (https://www.deviantart.com/sakural) to help with the interior colors, and the beautiful and talented Kaypee :iconthegr8calz: to lend some watercolor love to the cover.
We took a hiatus from the continuity in late 2012/2013 to work on a related side project that'll see the light of day soon (we
Send me good vibes
