The full moon’s light, in which bathed a small village without history, came to tickle Aiden's naked back. He looked tired from the cross that weighed on him, but his own past was probably even heavier. A past that remained chained to his soul. With tattered red clothes, his legs were dragging on the pavement of the dark alleys, witnessing the brutal physical change of the cross bearer.
The beast was accompanied by Father Alexander, whose face was forever marked by the cursed claws of the penitent. He coldly confided to Aiden: "Tonight you will fall three times, and you will have to get up alone." A deadly silence followed, quickly interrupted by the song of the man of faith, rhythmed by the metallic sound of the chains dragging on the ground:
"Perdono, mio Dio, Mio Dio, perdono, Perdono, mio Dio, Perdono, pietà."
This very song marked the beginning of a long and difficult walk towards forgiveness.
An artwork which I started about a year ago, I couldn't finish because I ended up hating the colors I put into it. I literally destroyed the artwork, is what I thought. The stupid me didn't save the previous files to go one step back, so I gave up on it.. But one year later, looking at it again, I decided it was time for a second try. It took quite some effort to get rid of those terrible colors, but I managed! Now I can proudly share this adorable Kuro, from Ao no exorcist! <3
I've decided to make vector art pieces of every single Fighter in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate for Nintendo Switch. I'll be releasing theme every day running up to release of the game (and probably after, there's a lot of fighters). They'll be released in Fighter number order that we've seen Nintendo sort the fighters by.
This was fully drawn with the Pen Tool in Adobe Illustrator.
