Keeps Creeping In Whispering pain creeps in
Producing dangerous pathways ....
Shocking words that are spoken kill the soul
Crippling thoughts begin to make the mind spin
Blinded by pouring tears that fail to dry
Dark shadows fall upon the paralyzing pain I feel
Casting sharp whispered doubts of what was
A memory stirs , a phantom touch , a painful sting
It keeps creeping in like a thief , a tendril dark & cold
Painfully unfurling ... so slowly , a story left untold
I build my walls tall , brick by brick to protect myself
But through those cracks
The silent horrors slip through ....
Their blank face I see , in faces passing by
