To the subject, for some reason, it reminds me of Tesla. For the composition, it appears a bit extra dimensional. I wish I had a third of your talent.

I've been following you for a while now (as long as I'm on the website, you were one of the first that I watched I think) and it's interesting to see how your style has evolved ! I love it more and more ! This piece is particularly original and striking ! Make more, you are a wonderful artist !

Thank you very much, it really means a lot! It's always nice to hear that, since most of the time I'm just not satisfied with my illustrations and can't really tell whether I've really evolved or not  :D

Your work is so inspiring. I just started toying with watercolor, I think it's stunning. If you don't mind me asking what brand of paint do you use? Currently I have an extremely cheap set and eventually would like to pick up some better paints. Awesome work !

Thank you very much  Well, I don't know how know are they abroad, but I use Pebeo, en.pebeo.com/Fine-Art/Watercol… I really like their acrylics and watercolors and even better watercolors are Umton, but I think these are known only in my country. I've also started with cheap sets, but it's not so expensive to get at least few colors of higher quality (I've found out that there are not actually so many colors that I use, so there's usually too many of them in these sets)

Love this! What medium did you use to make it? Watercolor? Especially love the look in his eyes. So evil-mysterious ;)

Thank you :D It's mostly watercolors, only beard and hair are made with acrylics and then there's some silver marker. Oh and the turquoise - also acrylics ;)

Great one!
When I first saw the painting I was ...OMG ANOTHER SHOCK.
But then I started laughing. I know he looks badass, but I don't know why he's funny to me (he made me smile  ). Maybe the colors and the nail polish give a female vibe from him.
I like that you chose violet color for his hair and beard, it makes the painting look interesting and fresh. :happybounce:

Agree, agree Nod

I never painted or draw males before (now I have recently made couple of them). I always find them "boring" subject to paint/draw (I'm sorry if it sounds rude to somebody Sweating a little..., I'm talking from the artistic point of view, not the real world).
I always felt I had limited things to do with them. That I can't experiment with poses, hairstyles, make up, color palettes.

Your painting is a good example of expanding someones borders and perception of what should be male or female. I can see you having great time painting him.:D (Big Grin)

This artwork made me think to break the rules, on how a male should be portrayed. Worship
