Rather Dashing Plushie, Now With Socks

Like I mentioned the person I'm making this for asked if I could make socks with it as well.  This turned out to be quite a task because I'm a bit of a perfectionist.  I didn't want to simply make a tube that slipped over the hooves, I wanted them to be form fitting like socks, which was difficult to do with Minky and asymmetrically tapered legs.  Eventually I made socks with a hidden elastic seam on the backs of them to get the result I wanted.  Can't say it was perfect, but it was a sort of improvised idea and it worked so I'm happy with how it turned out.  The socks are form fitting, they are removable and they look good so I'm happy with it.  I eventually decided to go with the green color scheme in light of the recent episode with Rainbow dash and Tank.  I thought those Tank slippers were pretty funny.
